King of Cups

The King of Cups combines the authoritative air of a monarch with the sensitivity of a caring heart. He is patient, tolerant and empathetic.  He is always calm and diplomatic (Bunning). He conducts his business and his relationships with a light touch, never heavy handed or dictatorial. He is a teacher and a sage whose wise counsel is often sought by others. And as cups symbolize art and artistic expression this king is a creative force.  However, if his energy is upended or out of alignment the sea of tranquility on which his throne sits can cause quite an upset e.g., emotional instability and turmoil.

In a reading consider the following:

-Do you have a difficult time balancing your authority with your more laissez faire attitude?

-Are you artistic?  Do you give your creativity "voice"?

-Are searching for equilibrium?

-Is your creativity "blocked"?

-Do you feel "at sea"?

-Are you experiencing "rough waters"?  If so, what would it take to set things right?

-Do you work in the helping professions?

-Are you overly flexible with others?

-What's stopping you from pursuing your dream?

Amy  bows low at the feet of all her holy teachers.
