The Five of Pentacles

The Five of Pentacles depicting its two forlorn and needy figures trudging through the snow symbolizes want, hard times, sickness and abandonment.  It reminds us of the fragility of life and how easy it is to lose it all. It admonishes us to count our blessings each and every day and never to take our good fortune for granted.

In a reading I would explore the following themes:

-Are you feeling "left out in the cold"?

-Are you worried about money?

-Are you experiencing financial problems?

-Are you or someone close to you in ill health?

-Are you always on the short end of the emotional stick?

-Who takes care of you?

-Are you feeling "homeless" and adrift?

-Are your hardships being ignored?

-Are your present circumstances making you "sick"?

-Have you been shunned and turned away?

-Are you emotionally "hungry"?

-Is there an emotional wound which is "crippling" you?

In times like these,  it's easy to become cynical and forfeit hope. But I would urge anyone who is struggling- be it physically, spiritually or financially- not to compromise the sweet spirit that resides in all of us for that is what will ultimately redeem you and pull you through.

Amy bows low at the feet of all her holy teachers.
