The Seven of Cups

When I think of the Seven of Cups the old saying of "all that glitters is not gold" comes to mind. The message here is not to be fooled by what appears to be "good on paper".  Avoid superficiality. Steer clear of illusions and self-deception. Come down to earth; sand castles get washed away to sea. Be grateful for what you have. Envy erodes your humanity.

The Seven of Cups also warns of the risks associated with having too many choices available to us. This can be overwhelming and confusing. Take time to prioritize and create order in your life.

In a reading consider the following:

-Are you deluding yourself with fantasy?

-Are your expectations unrealistic?

-Do you compare your lot in life with that of others?

-Do you strive to "keep up with the Jones" and find yourself dissatisfied?

-Are your daydreams taking on a life of their own?

-Do you have your head in the clouds?

-What must you do to put your house in order?

-Are you afraid of making a wrong choice?

-Are you being greedy by wanting it all?

Amy bows low at the feet of all her holy teachers.
