Temperance

Temperance is the fourteenth card in the tarot's Major Arcana. It symbolizes moderation in thought, action and feeling. It represents "restraint" and using one's "brakes".  It also refers to the abstinence from the use of alcohol or drugs. The temperate life is a balanced life which avoids excess, indulgence and extremes.

-Are you expending your energies beyond their limit?

-Are you impulsive?

-Are you drinking too much?  Are others complaining about your drinking?

-Do you abuse drugs?  Would you know if you had developed a dependency?  What would it look like?

-Are you moody?  Do you experience "mood swings?"

-Is it difficult for you to compromise?  Are you an "all or nothing" type person?

-Do you have to have the "last" word?

-Are you in good health?

-Are you able to put things in perspective and partialize obligations and commitments?

-Do you "over function" for fear if you don't do it, no one will?

-Are you too flexible?  Do you need to pull back from taking care of others?

-Are you work like and private life in sync?  Is one dominating the other at your expense?

Amy bows low at the feet of all her enlightened teachers and asks them for strength, protection and guidance
